PVC or vinyl flooring is a type of continuous plastic covering used in locations without excessive traffic and which require frequent cleaning, such as laboratories, primary schools, residential dwellings, offices or archives.
PVC flooring is the modern substitute to linoleum, given that its installation and properties are very similar.
Properties
Good resistance to abrasion, impermeable and easy to clean. PVC flooring can be classified into two major groups: continuous flooring (flexible) and tile flooring (rigid).
Continuous flooring: is sold in large rolls, which usually have a width of 2 meters.
Tiled flooring: Vinyl tiles are rigid and hard. They are used in irregular-shaped cabins or in residential dwellings or offices with rooms of different sizes and shapes.
