Silicone tubing is physiologically inert and offers excellent resistant to temperature (dry air): up to 200ºC continuously and up to 220ºC intermittently.
Maintains its flexibility at low temperatures, up to -70ºC
It is totally unaffected by ozone, inclement weather and ultraviolet radiation.
Moderate resistance to chemical products in general, although acids and bases will degrade it considerably, as will chloride hydrocarbons, esters, acetones, etc.
