Polyethylene (PE) is a thermoplastic noted for its great impact resistance to torsion, stress, wear, abrasion, chemical agents and caustic solvents. Resistant to low temperatures

It is flexible and has a low friction coefficient, in other words it possesses excellent sliding properties (self-lubricating property). It is less hard and rigid than polypropylene.

It has excellent electrical properties and exceptional mechanical properties.

It is impermeable and being a non-toxic material, it is mainly used in the food sector. Approved for food use.
